Jennie holds Capilano University’s Music Diploma major in Piano and Voice, Capilano University’s Music Conducting Certificate, and Vancouver Academy of Music’s Music Diploma major in Voice Performance. Jennie also has The Royal Conservatory of Music’s Piano A.R.C.T Performance Diploma, and Voice A.R.C.T Performance Diploma. Jennie is expert of teaching The Royal Conservatory of Music’s Piano, Voice and Music Theory. She has been teaching in the lower mainland of B.C for a decade. Her Piano and Voice students received excellent exam and performance results. Her piano students have also participated in Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festivals and Richmond Music Festivals and received awards. Her Music Theory students’ average Music Theory exam scores are above 95%. Besides teaching, Jennie performs regularly and has her solo recitals every year. Jennie has won many awards in singing competitions. One of her recent highlights was wining first place in the adult group of Canada Vancouver region of the 2023 Cultures of China Water Cube Cup Chinese Songs Contest.
