Grace is a cellist and music educator from Niagara, Ontario and co-founder of string ensemble Grace Notes Events. She's currently in the second year of her masters degree of Orchestral Instrument at UBC with a focus on collaborative chamber music.
Grace began studying cello at the age of ten and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Brock University. She’s studied with many great Canadian cellists, including Eric Wilson, Gordon Cleland, Gisela Depkat, Roberta Janzen, Thomas Weibe, and Shimon Walt.
As a soloist she has performed with the Peninsula Orchestra, Brock University Chamber Orchestra, Avanti Chamber Singers, and Stolen Collective Theatre. As an orchestral player she has performed regularly with the Niagara Symphony Orchestra and has been principal cellist of the Brock University Chamber Orchestra and UBC Symphony Orchestra.
Grace loves playing and meeting people through music, sharing the joy of storytelling through sound and especially loves to celebrate the works of new Canadian composers.
